And wow! What a way to start this season!

On my way to work this morning I wanted to park my car on my usual parking spot right behind my shop. Unfortunately there was a car parked right in front of the entrance. *growl* I was like "Hey, stupid ... could you please move your f****ing car?" but simply made a gesture to the driver who leaned against his car.

He saw my gesture and came closer. I rolled down my window, and told him as politely as I could before my first cup of coffee that I would like to park there. He smiled and said, "I'm afraid, that's not possible right now. I'm from the police and we're just arresting someone there. And btw ... the parking lot is full."

O-kay ... police? Arrest? Wow! So I drove on, parked my car in another street and when I was walking back to my shop, I saw a white van, and a guy with his hands on the roof, and two other guys who seemed to search for weapons or something like that. It was like in a movie.

And just now a customer came in, telling me that the guy was apparently a drug dealer who also drew a gun at the cops. *swallows hard*

Yes, living in a small town is nice. And soooo peaceful.

And now I need coffee.

from Ireland. Though I'm still not sure if I should be happy or sad about it.

All in all ... it was fantastic. I've felt SOOO good and welcomed. The weather was awesome, the B&B's were incredible and the people ... oh my, the people. *sighs happily* Great as always. We've been to see Newgrange (yeah, okay ... tourist stuff, I know. But I wanted to see it at least once), then drove down to Rosslare Harbour, and stayed there for the night.

On Sunday we drove via Youghal to Cobh where we discovered that the "Independence of the Seas" was anchoring. *yay* It was unbelievable to see. On Monday we took a trip to Blarney where my sis kissed the stone (brave girl *pats sis*). Then we drove to Kinsale and stayed near Cork at a very good B&B.

Tuesday we had to go home again *sigh*. It was so amazing. Everything went extremely well, and I can hardly wait to go back.

...finally!!!

I finally managed to book a trip to Ireland again. *yay me*

I'm leaving Germany on friday, will arrive in Dublin late at night and will leave Dublin saturday morning heading south to Rosslare where I'll stay the night. On Sunday I'll drive along the coast to Kerry ... not sure where I'll spend the night then. Is any of my lovely flist-lings living there and would like to join me (and my sister) one night for a drink? That would be amazing.

I'm sooooo looking forward to this trip ... my last visit in Ireland was AFAIKR 2002. Yarghs ... so long ago.
